Qatar Condemns Armed Infiltration of Bubiyan Island, Reaffirms Support for Kuwait
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar has condemned the infiltration of an armed group affiliated with Iranâs Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) into Bubiyan Island, describing the act as a violation of Kuwaitâs sovereignty and a threat to regional security.
According to the statement, the hostile operation resulted in the injury of a Kuwaiti military member, underscoring the seriousness of the incident.
Qatar reaffirmed its full solidarity with the State of Kuwait, commended Kuwaiti authorities for their handling of the situation, and called for an immediate end to unjustified Iranian attacks.
The ministry extended wishes for the speedy recovery of the injured serviceman and expressed prayers for Kuwaitâs safety and protection, emphasizing that safeguarding sovereignty and stability remains a collective regional responsibility.
